Amanda is a “Get Smart Fanfic”! Her writing style is anything but short and sweet as she tends to favor the epic as well as the twist. While her personal style is not limited to any one type of piece her Get Smart fic is geared partly toward parody and mostly toward absurd. Yep, there’s going to be some weird stuff – but this is Get Smart! Amanda developed the Unclassified Get Smart Site, www.ilovegetsmart.com, in the late 1990s as a hobby and educational outing while a college student.
The site grew to include her own collection of research on the show. She began writing an accompanying blog, A Peek Into Control’s Log Books, in 2015 to offer an episode-by-episode look at the classic spy spoof.
